I somehow never saw Dead Poets Society before & it is way weirder than I realized. Also, I am skeptical of the central theme that wealthy private school boys should be encouraged to be *more* smirky, self-expressive and aggressive, I can see some downsides to that theory

100%. I liked S1 Ted Lasso better than S1 The Bear, but I understood why they were hit shows. But after that, it was a steep slide into twee-itude and mawkishness
