Huh, that's super dangerous, noooo thank you. I already got in a bad spot once with my current card before I locked it and paid it off. (That was...harder than I expected)

So I think that’s an American Express thing: their more traditional cards are “charge” cards, not credit cards. So there’s no limit (and an annual fee), but you have to pay it *all* at the end of the month. The upside is the *much* higher points/miles/cash back.
