I used to see this on Twitter all the time especially in the circles of small Vtubers I used to go around. Of course the algorithm sees it as ragebait and so amplifies it way more than it deserves because more engagement. One major reason I quit Twitter was that it incentivised things like this.

This happened with one of my close friends and her ex, and it pisses me off so bad. HE broke every rule they agreed in for an ' open relationship' but she got bullied out of the streaming community and WHEN she tried to explain her side, she got dog piled and death threats.
