Hegseth is a great example of a common type of officer who's ended up in charge of something, doesn't have a clue how to do the job, and just falls back on PT, grooming, slogans, and searching for scapegoats. If you put him in charge of a Cinnabon he would do the exact same things.

Are there still straight men out there who don't comprehend how many more women we'd pull by pulling off gay standards of dress, grooming and general taste? I mean, we'd still need to overcome being relentless assholes, but that's just a given. We've worked around that one for centuries.
