Metallica fucking sucks. Some won't want to hear this, but most of that SF metal scene they came out of in the early 80s was just a bunch of antisocial, violent drunks with nothing to say. Did it serve as an outlet for some? Yes. But mostly just a bunch of aggressive manchildren with shitty politics

Castlevania "fans" were never going to be happy with this game. Same thing with people complaining about the music. It's new so it's bad. Even if it was a fucking 1:1 clone of SOTN with new characters and modern QOL shit they'd still complain that it "was just pandering and isn't anything new".
