One would be good and the other would be bad because one cause is good and the other is bad. We are not in the realm of procedural justice concerns anymore, liberalism is not obligated to be neutral on the question of its own existence.

Anyone who uses the word "purity test" while living under fascism can be roundly ignored. Your way doesn't work. It isn't popular. It doesn't win elections. You just want to do it because you think proper politics must, definitionally, locate a hated minority to sacrifice.
