In short lived cells, you'd expect to see RNA levels change over cellular ageing but not organismal aging. But your mouse data looks like it is saying levels drop with organism age.

Fascinating. Taking a look at your preprint now. You may be interested in our observations that soma sizes in fly brains seem to “shrink”. This can be slowed by overexpressing Myc, which is a major Pol2 amplifier. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
