Godzilla enters the 70s with Godzilla vs. Hedorah, a film that combines psychedelic imagery with an anti-pollution message. It's a truly bizarre installment, one that was almost universally panned at the time of its release. Thankfully, the "smog monster" has become a cult classic since.
Show PostIt's a tag team monster brawl in Godzilla vs Gigan, a wild film that includes talking kaiju, cockroach aliens, and a laser beam-shooting Godzilla tower. Gigan is a cool design - metallic and menacing. It makes up for the fact that this particular Godzilla suit is literally falling apart onscreen.
