It is odd that people pondering on whether AI may be conscious is a sign of AI-induced psychosis to some folks on here, given that this question has been an open philosophical one since at least when AI became conceivable.
Show PostTo then be faced with somethings blowing the Turing Test out of the water and wonder "hmmm, could we have real consciousness here" is not, even if the answer is "no," or even "no, and it couldn't be, for specific well argued reasons," in any way per se indicative of psychosis.
