    It allows you to keep touch ID while using your own keyboard. I personally hate typing on an apple keyboard. Now I have a mechanical keyboard I like and still have touch ID. I bought the apple keyboard broken on eBay. So saved a bit of e-waste and saved money too.

    I used to have to print to PDF from my Windows machine and share it to my Linux laptop to get it to print to the HP laser printer we have on the network. For whatever reason, Windows would see the printer, and the driver would be installed with no errors, but it would just refuse to print to it.

    Happy birthday to the MOS 6502! It was 50 years ago today that people were able to buy their first samples of the chip from a jar in a hotel room at WESCON. Here's my oldest 6502 from the 52nd week of 1975. Still works perfectly!

    A lot of us suspected, and Napster confirmed, that the biggest risk to an artist isn't piracy, it's obscurity. Easily sharing work increases visibility, which builds audience, which generates sales. Defeating DRM is trivial, so whenever I have the option, I release my work without it.
