I want to do like a TTRPG Taste Test where I run some one shots of different systems I kickstarted and haven't played or haven't ran before. So far on my list is: 1. Daggerheart 2. The Secret World Savage Worlds (based on the mmorpg) 3. Sisterhood (pulp gun nuns vs. cultists and demons)

Does anyone I know in the Chicago area own the Daggerheart core rules that I’d be able to borrow to read through? I find it so hard staying focused on PDFs.

Exactly. The bottom line is that whatever the approach taken, the cost is usually paid by the woman.

Got to play Daggerheart for the first time this weekend and I have to say, that was a heck of a lot of fun. While there are still mechanics & rules, they're not as rigid and complicated as 5e and work much more to make the table a co-op experience with the GM rather than adversarial.

Thanks to Puddletown Games for having us and a fine crew of storytellers playtest Eidolon: The Ghost Market last night! Only a few tix left to playtest this 2 hour Daggerheart one shot this month ( link in bio!)
