my hot take is that it really feels like the way people talk about obsession is getting more and more performative over time because you get stuff like people calling for a boycott of fortnite over the nikki skin when that's such a nothingburger of a "problem"
Show Posta lot of the killers in horror flicks are the victims of their stories it's getting weird how protective people are over this one character from this one horror flick as if she's the first horror character to go through flanderization
Show Postyeah sure adding nikki to fortnite doesn't make sense with the context of the movie but the same is true about 90% of the characters in fortnite (and adding her to a dating sim would be the thing that would be more of a problem) (also there are bigger issues with fortnite but that's another topic)
