I don't think they'll repeat, but not because of anything wrong with the team. The only way to repeat in the modern NFL is to have one of the best QBs and one of the best HCs at the same time. We've only seen the Patriots and Chiefs repeat for that reason

the Seahawks are a great example of why it's so difficult to repeat. 3 losses by 8 combined points. They haven't played as well, but I don't think there's a major problem on that team. Turn the ball over less on offense (5th most) and they're probably golden.

I know the good Seahawks folks on Bluesky know this in their bones but the team has seen *a lot* less positive game script this season. They've led on 26 percent of their offensive snaps (23rd). Last year Seattle led on 53 percent of their offensive plays. It was the second highest rate.
