That tax keeps the road in front of your house cleared and in repair. It keeps water flowing to your house and sewage flowing away. It supports the schools and local businesses that build the value into your property.

I'm not in favor of controlling Zuck's speech or Meta's speech. I'm in favor of ending his total, unaccountable control over Meta and in general breaking the extreme and increasingly lawless power the tech oligarchs have built themselves in ways completely orthogonal to speech.
