Mildly bothered that the tombstone says “his wife” when he’s not buried next to her *and* there’s not even an open plot next to her. That piece of granite is only ever going to make sense when he happens to be standing nearby.

It only took 5 days, but my mother finally got to the stage of visiting-Irish-parent where she related an amusing anecdote and then ended it with "Anyway, it's actually very sad, that man died by suicide."

A woman just told me that she could fart faster than my pub's hand-dryers on her way back to her husband. I assumed they were playing up but no, I went in, and they were pumping out a full hot blast. So I came back out and quipped "you need to get your guts sorted out!"
