NJ born and raised. Grandparents were all immigrants, settled in Passaic, NJ. on 4th St., in 1914. My parents went to work as an 8 year old (Dad), and 11 year old (Mom) in the local textile mills. Both parents families benefited from FDR’s New Deal.
