The rat race to the bottom in service continues. While I long ago quit even accepting those KLM sandwiches, a lot of people still eat those sandwiches on intra-Europe flights since they often have no time to grab food while at AMS when connecting from a non-Schengen flight to a Schengen flight.

I am guessing that it’s unlikely that this would work to count flights where I redeemed SAS, AirFrance-KLM or Delta points for Virgin Atlantic-operated flights. Given SAS is to offer Lifetime Diamond status, I expect to keep running up SAS point balances to use:

This is the hotel where Air France mostly puts me up whenever I am misconnecting at CDG and in line to collect €250 thanks to EC 261/2004. While I would prefer being put up at the Sheraton CDG, the Pullman has worked out well for me and I hope Air France continues to use it as a Radisson.

2018 Bora Bora 60k x 3 in IC Moana 80k x 3 in Conrad Bora Bora 60k x 3 in IC Thalasso Great trip. Best value ever. Though, actually prefer Maldives. Bora Bora had some big wasps.
