My university degree wasn't free at the point of service, but the vast majority of the cost was paid through an additional income tax levy that only kicked in when I started earning above a certain annual threshold. I had paid it off within 15 years of finishing and never had to stress about loans.

This isn't fair. Many dedicated progressives are wary about bad candidates. It isn't right or fair to claim those people are scared of "ideas". What they're scared of is slogans over action, from candidates who either can't win or drag the party down.

Mamdani left soccer field lights on all night…..the lights usually go off at 10pm. They set a camera up and guess what they saw?? Residents playing soccer with their friends ALL NIGHT. One man said how much he loved it because his friends work late and can’t get to the field before 10pm.
