I'm not just trans, I'm also (likely) intersex. For the most part I didn't go through male puberty, even though I was assigned an 'm' label when I was born. My hormone levels never looked anything like either 'sex' people suggest I was 'born as'. My biology doesn't look anything like typical biology
Show Postyea, if you change your gender marker, it’s suddenly hard to get cervical screening as a trans man but get invited as a trans woman without a cervix
Show PostCorrect me if I'm wrong, but is it not a problem in both directions, eg trans men also struggling to get gynaecology care, etc?
Show PostI cant help but think GCs love to watch all healthcare burn in order to own the trans community, because they all have private insurance so the cis friendly fire is in fact just kill the poors too.
Show PostThis is where trans healthcare development could have had such a positive secondary impact on cis health - people who have a cervix need screening, people with prostates need exams etc none of these things has ever been binary male/female, and it could have been progress instead of culture war
