Good suggestion! 👍 I don't have a minimal repro myself — I was trying to narrow down whether this is a caching or rendering issue. Comparing inline and external "<use>" on the same page while monitoring network requests sounds like a useful next step. Hopefully Mary can share a reduced test case.
Ver postI'm assuming it's the flash? Iirc there's no way to render block an external sprite sheet, so your best bet would be to use a JS blocking script in the head and load the sprite sheet, and then use <use>, not great, but no real other option.
Ver postuh external `<use href>` is horrendous on webkit and you do not want to use it
Ver postCSS/UX Tip 💡 Not everyone is a fan of transparent backgrounds or glassmorphism design. The prefers-reduced-transparency query allows devs to change the UI depending on whether users have chosen to reduce transparency or not in their OS settings.
Ver postThat doesn’t really help keep things neat and tidy, as spacing around each icon will be inconsistent then.
