Soon I can finally update this graph, although Minus Zero has several factors hampering its box office potential. Subtitles turning away people, the middling performance and bad aftertaste of the MonsterVerse and the fact that it's a sequel to a film that was't shown in theaters.

A subtitled release might be a blessing, given how rough the Hungarian Netflix dub of Minus One was in places. But it does make me slightly concerned for the film's box office prospects, as most viewers likely won't care for subs. Not that I ever expected the film to do well here anyway.

Finally more info on Godzilla Minus Zero's Hungarian release. Looks like it won't be dubbed. Pretty odd, considering Hungary is a dubbing nation. This means Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla still remains the only Hungarian-dubbed Japanese Godzilla film to be ever shown in theaters.

Sorry if I mixed up any of the languages. Confusingly, the DVD I have claims it contains a Slovakian dub, but it's actually Greek.

Considering Keetongu only has a few intelligible lines that would need to be dubbed ("Toa." "No." "NO!" and "Duty.") and the rest is Scott McNeil growling some garbled gibberish or laughing, I wonder why this line in particular wasn't kept the same across international dubs.
