Show Postfeeling guilty for ever accepting anything in return. In the short time I've been engaged with this community, so many furs have been quick to see this tendency in me and encourage me to slow down and rely on others instead of burning myself out. My son lost his mother a few months back. Yesterday
Show Posta ton of local folks and one from out of town helped us clean out the house and get it ready for sale. We hosted a yard sale and raised a good bit of money for his future college fund, and then donated the rest of his mom's unsold stuff to a veteran's charity at the end of the day.
Show PostIt was a good chance to show off the best of our local community, and admins from 3 of our 4 local furry groups were present to help along with a team of nearly 15 local furs. So a lot of networking and community growth was able to happen. This took an army and everyone stepped up to work hard and

I'm also glad I never have to see this junk again and it represents a beautiful metaphor for what my life these days has become... folks in the fandom helping me clean away all the crap from my past life and me being able to act as a catalyst for community growth in return.
