I can confirm that the Boston Celtics are converting Devin Carter to a two-way contract. @mikeascotto.bsky.social was first on the news. This fills Boston's open two-way spot. The Celtics are expected to carry an open standard roster spot into the regular season.

This seems like good news

Mentioned this on the pod with @nateduncannba.bsky.social today - Pistons had incentive to do year to year raise on this as flat or slightly frontloaded, given their distance from this year's tax line.

this would seemingly not bode well for either Caleb Martin or Marcus Sasser. Mavs would have make a cut to keep Powell on opening day roster.

The Raptors have converted 2nd-rounder Jaden Bradley’s 2-way deal to a multi-year NBA contract. Allows them to meet the roster minimum of 14 players while also staying under the 1st apron, where they’re hard capped. Guard Malachi Smith will fill the vacated 2-way spot, per @mikeascotto.bsky.social
