The primary parties of independence, representing most of the Scottish Parliament and the Government, are no longer using the platform. The defence of "yeah but everyone's there so I HAVE to keep using and engaging with it" is starting to look pretty thin. You're just an addict. Turn off the tap.

In the past week both @scottishgreens.org and The Scottish Government announced they are ditching X/Twitter. Pretty major moment for killing off the addiction of ScotPol to Musk's white-supremacy promotion platform. Poor timing for @scotnational.bsky.social to be penning a defence of staying there
