Post anzeigen#ThrowbackThursday Golden Grove pub #Chertsey c1870 Spooky happenings reported at Golden Grove Legend that ghost of girl in bar area & spirit of monk from Chertsey Abbey in the upper room of the pub where he was said to have murdered a nun. Except was no building & no nuns there at time of Abbey.

The Cricketers, 1990 & demolished. Bridge Hotel opposite opened in 1870 & extended 1990s onto Galleon pub site
