Absolutely! Policing and the knowledge that there's consequences also changes habits so I think unfortunately we'd need a bit more of that too. Road litter is even worse as it means some specifically think a road side is to be used as a dump, it's not even forgetfulness. Thanks for all you do.

You know you’re really old when the fire station you were involved in being developed is replaced. Not sure how the dilemma of renaming Double Hedges is being handled with the new fire station, but thankfully a solution was found last time. #Edinburgh #Liberton.
Show PostComparing to cleaner places, I always wonder whether it's more of a case of the council/authority cleans more or people are just better (they don't litter). To be clear, I think what you do is amazing, but it's a disgrace people litter in the first place
Show PostNo problem. As I’ve said before @pawsonplastic.bsky.social is a great idea, organisation and cause. Always happy to help where I can.

One of the downsides of #EdinburghFestivals is the way the city is treated as a giant rubbish bin. Sadly it starts with people who live here. We need more pride in #Edinburgh and set standards for visitors to follow.
