The alt text on the 1st image ("fr. Edward St.") Is incorrect. The photo is labelled Hayden St., likely correct. From Edward it would show what later became Sam's, A&A's and Zanzibar with Steeles Restaurant, later Steeles Tavern.

Inducted into the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame: Jessie Donalda Dunlap was honourary president of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair for the years 1940 to 1946. As the owner of Don-Alda Farms, she encouraged the breeding of #Guernsey cattle. cahfa.com/inductee/mrs...

The streetcar on Victoria Street looks much too old for a 1926 shot; the TTC disposed of vehicles of that vintage by 1923. The Winchester Car was gone by then & replaced with the Parliament route. But as it’s a touched up postcard, it’s quite possible that it was issued in 1926 from an older image.
