    Can anybody explain to me why this card is worded the way that is? Specifically, I don't understand the "only if this card exiled" rider at the end. Is this necessary so that Pull From Eternity removes the ability to play the spell, or what am I missing here?

    Without the condition, you could never activate it because it's in exile (normally you can't activate abilities of cards in exile). But also, I think the copy has the tetxt, meaning you could maybe activate it from thte stack or batlefield by default? Not great.
