Assuming they have the fundamentals for ML, I'd highly recommend starting w/ O'Reilly's 'NLP w/ Transformers' (2022) by @lvwerra.bsky.social @lewtun.bsky.social @thomwolf.bsky.social g.co/kgs/oY4pNjk I've recommended this a few times to those familiar w/ classic ML & heard back it really helped!
