The word lame does have an ableist history and it's debatable if it should be used but their was no nuance to the debate and it seemed more like an attack on the person who originally used it than actually educating people. Also the server has bullied people of and on the server as well.
Show PostKeep in mind the person that used it is neurodivergent. Only for a couple of days later the head of the server or one of their friends used it (I forgot who) used it and when I brought it up it lead to the argument and how the R slur used to be normalized and used in medical contexts.

This reminds me of the time a major argument started in a server I used to be a big part of because someone said a twist in a reality game show was lame. The head of the server said that word was ableist. 1/?
