Sucks, because while I know dogs are a really problem for cyclists, shooting them seems bad, even if it supposedly won't kill them. Now we at least know things like pepper spray and flashlights can do the job better.

Interesting side note: The cartridge and design comes from René Galand, a Frenchman, who also built a number of these before eventually contracting production to a Belgium company in exchange for developing other projects of his and some cash. His guns are far more ornate and less standardized.
