White bill spot ✅ Two-tone cheek ✅ 'glossy cap' mentioned in all the books - pretty useless! Bill spot & cheek pattern are key to identify Marsh Tit vs Willow Tit. On Marsh, the cheek is split btwn clean white face vs cold grey-brown behind the ear, which blends into the back. Willow are brighter.
