I think that's one of the most satisfying moments! Like, you're ready to give the summarized version and your players are like "no wait! This is important you need the deets!" and you get to just sit back and enjoy the payoff of seeing your friends invested in the world you've fleshed out together.

It makes onboarding a little harder, but at the same time as long as you have a few old guard around you have a whole crew to bring the newbie up to speed. It takes a village etc etc. Teaching an overdeveloped homebrew setting to 4 new players is tough, but having 4 people teach one is easier.
