Man, this has upset me tbh. Last winter my kid was too young to spend much time at the park, but we’ve had a tonne of fun times there together over the recent warmer months. It was our go-to Daddy-daughter thing. Now I’ll need to wear an FFP3 there for months, and all for someone’s ‘cosy vibe’ bs.

This! Bring on the public awareness campaign. So sorry to hear about your asthma. Many of the people in our network are affected similarly. So many people are still completely unaware of the impacts of their burning - we really need the situation to change.

Better regulation seems a mile away, and public knowledge of the health harms of burning is terrible. Props to groups like @mumsforlungs.bsky.social for trying to raise awareness, though what we really need is information-campaigns coming from government etc. bsky.app/profile/mums...
