Because the application of anonymity has been egregiously misused as a cynical litigation tactic, time and time again, and there's a public good served in eroding the "norm" that anyone and everyone who ever self-proclaims any victimhood, no matter how valid, is entitled to permanent anonymity.

This is called being facetious and "joking" because everyone is not required to be so goddamn morose about this subject 24/7. Lighten up bitch

Say it with me -- reporting is not "doxxing" ... reporting is not "doxxing." Of course I wouldn't publish her phone number, address, social security, etc. But her identity? Absolutely. That's squarely in the public interest. Despite the cynical legal tactics to arbitrarily shroud her in anonymity.
