They did not snag a deal. SCP is Creative Commons and therefore (deliberately) difficult to profit off of or trademark. The SCP Licensing team was not notified of this project ahead of time nor did the SCP wiki or its community sign off on this.
Show PostAnd nobody who actually writes for the SCP Foundation was notified. Including the licensing team whose job it is to maintain the Creative Commons that allows the work to exist as an open collaborative project! Yayyyyyyy
