About a month ago, my dad was diagnosed with thyroid cancer but he had surgery for it two days ago and was discharged from the hospital today. Everything looks good, but we’re waiting for some biopsy results for other lymph nodes. His 70th birthday’s also in two days, so lots to celebrate.
