every time i think he cannot possibly outdo himself and every time i am proven wrong in the most astonishing fashion there's literally nobody else doing anything like him, and he still finds a way to raise the bar 10/10, go see it at the soonest opportunity

just saw You Can See Everything and it may genuinely be one of the best films ive seen in my life. it is absolutely brilliant and left both of us absolutely speechless. it is simultaneously deeply disturbing and uncomfortable while also a film i absolutely need to see again.

Just got out of seeing it and I’m probably more confused about my own conclusions than before but my touchstone through all of this continues to be: she’s still doing the voice. Whatever else I might be tempted to believe about her, that’s the thing that doesn’t square with a sympathetic view.
