Thanks, that's useful. One interface for staff and clients is the honest trade-off: one thing to maintain, but clients get a tool built for you. A cheap fix: make one saved view (their tasks + the timeline) their landing page, so the rest of the UI rarely gets in the way.
Show PostWorth a second look at OpenProject: Nextcloud has an official OpenProject integration app (link Nextcloud files to work packages and see them from both sides). For a lighter FOSS PM with client access, Leantime and Plane are good. ERPNext shines if you also need invoicing/CRM.
