💯 I'm pretty sure it's just intended to obfuscate past failures, and move the roadblocks to respirator use over into off-the-record pressure not to "waste resources" so IPC can have their way without having to be accountable for the consequences. Same old "saving face over saving lives" mentality.

Agree, and I also think a part of all of this is how few people in healthcare have been paying attention. Nurses in particular are really not well equipped to push back on the question "why are you in an N95?" (which IPAC still asks me)
