  Alberta referendum, Wed 1:59 p.m. count: Smith’s side leads on 7 of 9, No to the Nine on Q6 (judges) and Q8 (opt-out). But 350k+ mail ballots are still uncounted on Q6–Q9, and mail is running 25–30% yes. Q7 and Q9 aren’t safe. Unofficial, still counting.

  We asked Albertans in September how they believed Danielle Smith would vote if Alberta held a referendum on actually separating from Canada and becoming a sovereign country. This is how they responded: ⚫ 48% - Smith would vote to separate 🟢 27% - Smith would vote to remain ❔ 26% - Unsure
