I can’t do slasher movies anymore but that’s more of a squeamishness brought on by deep empathy and sympathy (even though I know it’s all fake). What really hit me hard was Red Dragon because monsters like that can and do exist. Likewise Criminal Minds had some episodes that had my skin crawling.
