Don't get me wrong, I do like the SOUND of Forever, but I grew up with Retail. That's my comfort game. My home. Blizz knows they fucked up with Retail and they keep fucking up and instead of actually fixing it, they're making a whole new game and timeline because it'd just be cheaper to do so.

this so profoundly irritates me. i really hope that there isn't sentiment like that internally because different groups taking swipes at each other in the company would suck. they dont have to punch down to promote forever.

I hated it because of it. It is like they are incapable of admitting they make mistakes in retail, and imstead of adressing their shitstains and clean them, they prefer us to forget about that. And throw tje baby with the bathwater

Things like this, the recent silence on the state of retail, and the Q&A that we had largely just being "Not during the Worldsoul saga!" as answers really feels like a kick in the teeth. If Forever -feels- like Classic I know I'm not gonna enjoy it, so WoW's just dead for me I guess? We'll see.

This is part of what I mean that Forever has an off putting feel to me. They recognize they created a monster with WoW and have decided that instead of fixing it they just want to start over and are asking me to start over with them. Whole thing makes me feel sour.
