They didn’t have a blood test 20yrs ago! Dr. said the test is eat gluten for a month then get invasive procedure where they take a piece of my intestine to see if villi are damaged to confirm Celiac. And like I said, no treatment or cure, just avoid gluten. So I just skipped to the avoid gluten part

And the Celiac test was “eat gluten 3X a day for a month before we do the test”, and I was like, “I wouldn’t be able to leave my bathroom, go to work, do anything. I’d be in constant pain. Is there treatment for Celiac if I have it?” Dr.: No. Just avoid gluten Me: Ok then, I’ll just avoid gluten 🙄

Thanks for adding all this for those that find themselves in the replies! I’ve learned so much from people with lived experience that doctors and even specialists couldn’t point me to. I had to figure it out myself that I had a gluten intolerance 20 years ago…

I don't know how many times I need to keep repeating that these systems will not violate the Second Law of Thermodynamics until people get it. This is an incredibly important constraint on genie-like behavior! No free matter, no free energy, no seeing backwards or forwards in time
