A bit more complicated, more pro Russia than pro Putin re 37 countries polled. www.pewresearch.org/global/2026/...
Show PostLike, there’s a reason that the middle class’s current loyalty to Democrats is historically atypical. If we’re going to sacrifice that, we need to make sure that people who aren’t white cishet men have rights first
Show PostMy whole point here overall is just “let’s make sure we undo the authoritarian shit the GOP did and make sure it can’t happen again before we implement what’s sure to be the most impactful policy to middle class comfort in a bad way in American history”
Show PostThe entire project is being pitched to people whose standard of care will in fact go down, on behalf of people who largely don’t or can’t vote (children, extremely impoverished people) and it’s actively misleading and imo wrong to lie to voters that “their” health outcomes will be better
Show PostThe point is that the argument that “we” will collectively get better healthcare is misleading. Most people will get significantly worse health care so the small minority that doesn’t have insurance now will be covered. *this is clearly morally better but it will lose elections & disappoint people*
