Well this was prescient. I'm again seeing trans people harassed for criticizing anti-trans Dems with "you wouldn't vote for a 'lesser evil' to stop Hitler becoming president!!!" In 1932 a lot of people did vote for a "lesser evil" to stop exactly that. He promptly put Hitler in power.

Keep thinking about a post I saw that said something like, "The best way to understand your political opponents is to sit down at a table with them and have a conversation."
