does that total include people the cops have murdered or is that a separate category?

I have never heard cops say they have enough cops or stuff. They always, always want more and claim things will get worse faster if they don't get more more more.

Alexis Mercedes Rinck is the first to note that most of what the UCT does is removing "obstruction" encampments with no notice—1,286 sites so far this year. In 52% of cases, someone who was present on the site being abruptly swept was told about an available shelter bed somewhere in the city.
