The rules are esoteric, hard to find, and highly variable, so I often just recommend reading a lot of queries that worked! Here are my favorite resources for that--🧵

It’s not until there’s a problem that you’ll learn whether or not your agent has your back. If they don’t, get out quick. You deserve someone fighting for you.

Like, a statement will come in for a title I haven’t seen before and I can tell IMMEDIATELY who it belongs to because every agent has a “flavor”
