Next up was PAX in Seattle, where we debuted an ambitious panel called “Make a Scene with Telltale” that would return to the show for the next several years. With audience participation, we quickly wrote a script and recorded voices. Then a couple of choreographers went to work while we did Q&A.

We don’t know what happened to the Sam & Max suit. We have seen a couple of videos, like this one (presumably from Gamescom 2007), but its ultimate resting place is unknown. Hopefully it’s enjoying a comfortable retirement, on a beach with Mai Tais.

The suit was worn by someone we hired off Craigslist. He and our marketing intern, Nick Herman, walked the show floor getting footage, which Nick then strung together into one of the best Telltale videos of the era.

In July we headed to San Diego Comic-Con with a giant Sam & Max costume made by JoWood, Season One’s European retail publisher. We used the suit in San Diego, then shipped it to Europe for them to use at Gamescom.

#samandmax20th After Sam & Max Season One wrapped up, the development team rolled right onto Season Two while the web/marketing team worked on getting the bonus DVDs and case files finished and out to customers. (Hey, share this thread for a chance to win a game key!)
