Candy is weird. Kids have a lot less access to it these days. A Snickers bar costs like $4.99. Everything is sour now, and/or probiotic. It seems like the economics of Halloween should allow for a pop-up industry that mass produces every candy that has ever existed all for that one frightful night.
Show PostMy childhood Halloween candy memories are of my parents making softball sized homemade popcorn balls and hand-dipped candied apples. And hoping they had made enough so that my brothers and I could get our own when we got home from trick-or-treating
Show PostWhen I was still teaching I would bring my leftover candy to school. I tell the kids if they had candy they didn’t like, they could swap it out. And as luck would have it I got a load of Rootbeer Barrels! I🫶them!
Show PostEvery Halloween we dump a Costco bag of Halloween mix into a bowl on the porch. Then we go trick or treating where our kid gathers a Costco bag of Halloween mix one piece at a time from all of our neighbor’s porches.
Show PostIt’s to prime you for the actual air travel experience of everything being obnoxious.
